Knox Biography:

Knox is a self-taught, self-built, and self-inspired musician. From the ground up he has always been different without a detectable air of desire to fit in. Carving his own path from the days of dubbing beats over tapes on an old 4-track recorder, to learning to play an out-of-tune piano with a "HoW To" book he rented from the library. Influenced by classic literature and the darker sides of modernism, but still burning with a bright, snarky, and at some times cocky youthfulness. He is in your face. He is witty and sharper than a tack. His lyricism coupled with his hones production skills make him a one of a kind, genre-blending artist/producer. Compared to the likes of Timbaland, Pharel, Diplo, and Trent Reznor. Starting with a vision, Knox creates a masterpiece, not discrimination between the common sounds of "Pop" or "Underground" music. He makes what he wants and makes it his own. Working with only like-minded artists, and striving with an earnest work ethic. The "Next Level" to him is always just a step forward on his path to greatness. Ever-evolving, ever-growing, and still Unaffiliated. Knox is the anima of raps next generation.

Free Verse Fridays began in August of 2012 with the mission to bring young, talented, individuals in the recording arts industry the opportunity to appear in a new Youtube series promoting artists such as themselves via acapella verse performances. Since our first episode Free Verse Fridays has evolved into a media hub for recording artists to promote, market, and otherwise share their work with the world through Soundcloud, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Today we are taking the next step in promotion by sponsoring Free Verse Fridays artist Knox’ and his debut album “Unaffiliated”. Knox and Free Verse Fridays will be recording four (4) music videos from the “Unaffiliated” album as well as interviews we will be sending to all of the websites/blogs we support and who support us. 

We are very excited to bring you all "Unaffiliated" by Knox, it's a great album and we'll be doing more promotion for it as we come closer to the official drop date for the project which is currently TBD.
